Two girls were the first babies of 2025 at UW Medicine hospitals.
Madison Skye Perez was delivered at 1:17 a.m. at the University of Washington Medical Center – Montlake. Her parents are Crystall and Jesse Perez of Shelton. Madison weighed 5 pounds, 10.3 ounces and is the third girl for the family.
Rylee Louise Laughlin arrived at 6:53 a.m. at the UW Medical Center – Northwest. Her parents are Jessica Ressler and Darian Laughlin of Seattle. Rylee weighed 4 pounds, 14.8 ounces and is the couple's first child.
